A filling restores a hole in a tooth caused as a result of tooth decay, losing a previously fitted filling, or having a cracked/chipped tooth. Fillings restore the tooth back to its original shape.
Our skilled dentists will remove all of the decay and plaque build up in the tooth and replace the hole with a long lasting filling material.
At YPD we strongly believe in maintaining a healthy environment and therefore do not use amalgam/mercury fillings.
A white composite filling is used which is environmentally friendly and more aesthetically pleasing. No one will notice you have a filling due to the colour being matched exactly to your teeth.
