Treatment Plans and Estimates
• Upon consultation, a comprehensive treatment plan and cost estimate will be provided.
• Should any changes arise due to clinical findings or patient preferences, these will be discussed, and the treatment plan will be updated accordingly.
Payment Terms
• A deposit is required to secure appointments, with the amount based on the type and duration of the treatment.
• This deposit will be deducted from the total treatment cost.
• For treatments involving laboratory work, such as crowns, bridges, dentures, or implants, a minimum of 50% of the total fee is due at the appointment where impressions are taken.
• We accept payments via cash, debit cards, and approved finance agreements.
• Finance is available for eligible patients to help spread the cost of treatment over an agreed period.
• Details of available finance options, including terms and conditions, will be provided during consultation.
• All treatment fees are due on the day the treatment is provided unless a finance agreement has been arranged.
• Unpaid accounts may be referred to a debt collection agency or pursued through legal action, with the right to recover all associated costs.
Appointment Cancellation and Missed Appointments
• We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for the cancellation or rescheduling of appointments.
• This allows us to offer the time slot to other patients in need.
• Failure to provide the required notice or missing an appointment will result in a fee of £20 for each 10 minutes of the missed or cancelled appointment
(e.g., £60 for a 30-minute appointment).
• Arriving more than 10 minutes late may necessitate rescheduling the appointment, and the missed appointment fee may apply.
Deposits for Future Appointments
• We reserve the right to charge time-based deposits for booking future appointments.
• These deposits are deductible from the cost of treatment.
Refund Policy
• If you decide to cancel a course of treatment, refunds for any treatment not yet performed will be processed within 14 days, provided a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is given.
• If less than 48 hours’ notice is provided, a proportionate amount may be withheld to cover overheads.
• For treatments involving laboratory work, if the initial stages have been completed, a proportion of the fee will be retained to cover incurred laboratory costs.
Personal Details and Medical History
• It is imperative to provide a full medical history and details of any medications you are taking.
• Please inform us promptly of any changes to your personal details or medical history.
Guarantee
• We offer a 12-month guarantee for fillings, crowns, and bridgework, provided the following conditions are met:
• The patient has fully paid for the treatment or adhered to the finance agreement terms.
• The restorations have not been damaged due to an accident, trauma, or excessive grinding.
• The patient has followed all post-treatment maintenance recommendations made by our dentists.
• The patient has attended routine examinations every six months and visited a dental hygienist at a frequency advised by us.
Use of Images and X-rays
• We may use images and x-rays of your smile and teeth for marketing and educational purposes on our website and social media platforms.
• Your name will never be published, and your identity will not be disclosed.
• If you do not wish for us to use your images and x-rays in this way, please inform us.
Use of Patient Contact Details
• We may use your contact details to inform you of important changes at the clinic, special offers, appointment reminders, and other relevant communications.
• If you prefer not to receive such communications, please let us know.
Finance Agreements
• Finance options are available to help patients spread the cost of treatment.
• Finance agreements are subject to credit checks and approval by our finance provider.
• Failure to adhere to the terms of the finance agreement may result in penalties or additional charges from the provider.
Amendments to Terms and Conditions
• We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions as necessary.
• Any changes will be communicated to patients and will be available on our website.
